General Campground Policies

Welcome to our campground! We hope that you enjoy your stay with us. The following rules have been adopted to ensure the health, safety, general welfare and protection of our guests to maximize their enjoyment and deliver a memorable vacation experience. Please ensure that you, your invitees, friends and family understand them. The Manager and Staff are charged with enforcing these rules and have the authority to terminate your stay immediately, without refund, if these rules are not respected. Registered guests are responsible for the conduct of their invitees, friends and family at all times and will be held financially responsible for any damages caused to property or equipment.

Traffic Rules

The speed limit on roadways within the resort is 10 KM per hour. All directional and traffic signs must be obeyed.

Vehicle Restrictions

No trail bikes, quads, off-road or any other motorized or unlicensed vehicles are allowed on resort property at any time.

Use of Site

Space permitting, each site may be used for the parking of one RV, one tow vehicle, a second vehicle or boat trailer and one tent. All other vehicles shall park in areas designated by Resort Staff and may be subject to additional parking charges.

Pets

A limit of two pets is allowed per site. Pets must be leashed at all times while on resort property expect when confined on your site. Pet owners MUST pick up after their pets. Pets must not present a hazard or nuisance to other users, their pets or wildlife. Excessive barking will not be tolerated. Pets are not allowed on the sandy beach areas surrounding the Lagoon and may only use that section of beach on Shuswap Lake on the far south side of the resort identified by appropriate signs.

Quiet Time

Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM
Friday and Saturday: 12:00 Midnight to 9:00 AM
Excessive noise, loud music, foul language and unruly or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated at any time of the day.

Adult Supervision

Parents are responsible for the conduct of their children, regardless of age. Children under the age of 12 years must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Visitors

Visitors are welcome between the hours of 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM. All Visitors must check in at the Welcome Centre and must display their pass prominently on the dashboard of their vehicle at all times while at the resort and park in designated areas only. Sites are limited to a maximum of 10 people.

Garbage and Recycling

All garbage and recycling must be deposited in the bins provided. So as not to attract wildlife or other rodents, garbage and recycling must be stored in a secured area or inside the RV.

Privacy

Please respect the privacy of other guests and owners. Do Not walk through occupied sites.

Campfires

Campfires may not be left unattended and must be confined to the fire pit provided.

Deposit Policies

Nightly

A deposit equivalent to the total cost of their stay must be paid by Credit Card at the time the stay is booked and reservation is confirmed.

Weekly, Monthly and Seasonal

A deposit of 50% of the applicable rate payable must be paid by Credit Card at the time the stay is booked and reservation is confirmed.

Cancellation Policies

All cancellations are subject to a $50.00 administration fee.

Nightly

Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled date of arrival will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit.

Weekly

Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit.

Monthly, Summer and Seasonal

Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the scheduled date of arrival will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit.

West Beach Village is promoting the sale of RV Lots and Cabins. Because an RV Lot or Cabin may be subject to prior sale or sale during your stay, management reserves the right to relocate you to an alternate site. If the alternate site is located in a lower priced section of the Resort, you will be refunded the difference. If you are not satisfied with the alternate site that has been chosen for you, you may inform management who will refund you the unused portion of your rental payment.
